Renovation of a religious / funeral development in Kleinburg, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a religious / funeral development. - The main floor and basement of the KUC, totaling approx 3,600 sq ft, will be renovated to current OBC and AODA standards. - Plaster and wood interior will be restored and renovated. - New electrical and mechanical systems. - A LULA elevator will be installed providing barrier-free access to both floor levels. - A new barrier-free ramp providing access to the main floor of the building. - The basement (partially below grade) will include accessible washrooms, a kitchenette, and storage space. - Minor abatement of designated substances. - The exterior facade including brick, parapets, mortar, stained glass windows, and existing wood window sashes will be repaired and restored. - Regrading to improve drainage and new foundations waterproofing and drainage system. - Exterior hard and soft landscaping.
